No, Facebook does not suggest friends based on whether or not you have searched for someone’s profile. The friend suggestions on Facebook are based on various factors such as mutual friends, common interests, and similar networks. Simply searching for someone’s profile will not trigger a suggestion from Facebook.
Facebook uses complex algorithms to determine friend suggestions and it takes into account multiple data points to make these recommendations. So, if you search for someone’s profile but do not interact with their content or have any mutual connections, it is unlikely that Facebook will suggest them as a friend.

Yes, you can search for people by name or email address. If you want to see if someone is on Facebook and what their profile looks like, this is the best way to do it. You’ll also be able to find people who went to the same school as you or worked at the same company as you.
You can also search for people who live in a certain area (like New York City) by clicking on “Locations” at the top of your search results page. If there are any mutual friends between yourself and someone else who has recently moved into town, their profiles will appear here too!
If you searched for someone and didn’t find them, it’s possible that they’ve set their profile to “Friends only” or “Restricted.”

If they have restricted access, there will be a lock icon next to their picture and an option below it called “View as.” Clicking on this will allow you to view their profile as if they were not friends with you; however, this does not mean that they will be able to see your profile either!
If you want these restrictions removed so that both parties can view each other’s profiles again at any time without having to manually change settings or send friend requests one by one after every update from either side–and trust me when I say that’s going do get old fast–I recommend contacting Facebook directly through email rather than messaging them via Messenger because then there won’t be any record of our communication on either end which could come back later and bite us both in our collective butts (or worse).

When you search for someone, information from their Facebook profile will appear in the left pane as well as a list of people with similar names (and their relationship to you) in the right pane.
You can search for people by name or email address. If you know their full name, just type it in the search bar at the top of your Home page. If you only have part of their name, use quotation marks around those letters–for example: “John Smith.”
If you don’t know who to look up but want to find out how many mutual friends you have in common with another user (and vice versa), click on them in your list of suggested friends and then look under “Similar People” on the left side of their profile page. This will show all other users with similar names who are also connected to this person through Facebook’s friend recommendation algorithm–and since everyone has some overlap when it comes to friends or acquaintances with others online, there’s probably at least one person out there whose info might be helpful as well!

Type in the first name or email of the person you want to find, then hit enter (or click “search”). The results will appear in your left pane as well as any related information about them in your right pane:
We know that it can be frustrating if you’re trying to find someone, but there are some tricks that will make the process easier. The first thing is making sure that your name is spelled correctly–this means double-checking your spelling and capitalization when entering names into the search bar! If you still can’t find who you’re looking for after searching through all possible variations of their name, try searching by email address instead (it might be easier than remembering exact dates).
