    To celebrate fifty years of Barbie, we’ve decided to look back at Barbie’s past. In this article, we’ll talk about the first Barbie movie and explore its plot.

    Barbie in the Nutcracker

    Barbie in the Nutcracker was released in 2001, and it’s based on the ballet The Nutcracker. Barbie stars as Clara, who wants to play with her new doll but must follow strict rules about what toys are allowed to do. When she is given a Nutcracker doll by her godfather (played by Owen Wilson), she accidentally breaks him while playing with him and then puts him back together again; this causes him to come alive!

    Barbie goes on an adventure through a magical land where she meets mice soldiers and other creatures along the way before returning home at Christmas time after defeating their enemies with dance moves like pirouettes and pas de chat!

    Barbie of Swan Lake

    Barbie of Swan Lake is a 2001 American animated film produced by Mattel, Inc. and Warner Bros. Animation.     The story begins with Barbie as a young girl who finds a magic wand while exploring her grandmother’s attic with her little sister Kelly. She uses it to make her very own fairy tale world where she can live out all of her childhood fantasies as well as those inspired by other tales like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White (as well as several others). Later in life when she grows up she passes down this gift/curse to another young woman named Liana – who becomes known by many names including “Princess” or simply “P”.
