1. Visit delhiuniversity.ac.in and use the ‘Apply Now’ button to create an account if you have not already done so.
2. On the home page, under ‘Programs & Courses’, click on the relevant link for your category of admission (undergraduate or postgraduate).
3. On the programme page, find the information about minimum percentage required for admission into that particular programme. For undergraduate courses, this is usually 90%, while it is 60% for postgraduate courses.
4. Enter your relevant particulars in the online application form and tick all the required boxes. Please avoid including any irrelevant information as this may influence your eligibility for admission into the programme of your choice.
5. Verify and finalize your application by clicking on ‘Submit Application’ at the bottom of each page on delhiuniversity.ac.in/programmesandcourses/. If everything looks correct, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation email notification soon afterwards which you should print out and take with you to submit with your valedictory examination or similar document as proof of having applied to the university.
Application Form For Delhi University Admission
The Delhi University (DU) admission process is quite strict and requires a certain percentage of marks in the qualifying examination to be eligible for the admission process.

For General category candidates, 5% weightage is given to aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations.

The Delhi University admission test is a two-day test comprising of Physics, Mathematics and General Studies. The minimum percentage required for admission in Delhi University is 60% in each subject.
Fee Structure of Delhi University
Delhi University follows a fee structure wherein the annual tuition fee is Rs. 60,000 for undergraduate courses and Rs. 120,000 for postgraduate courses. The fee structure also includes an additional Rs. 8,000 per semester for each semester of attendance. Additionally, there is a compulsory health insurance premium of Rs. 2,500 per annum which needs to be paid in addition to the tuition fees. In order to qualify for a government scholarship, students must also adhere to the following eligibility criteria: they must have scored at least 45% in their Class 10th examination or equivalent examinations and fill in the Scholarship Application Form available from the university office.
Important Dates for Delhi University
Application form can be downloaded from the university website. Forms must be filed by the closing date.
First Round Application Form (for SC/ST/PWD) can be filed from 05th March to 04th May.
Second Round Application Form (for all other categories) can be filed from 06th May to 04th July.
The counselling for admission will commence from 09th July and continue till 12th August. The admission process will be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in School Leaving Certificate etc.
